The Toronto Raptors gave general manager Bobby Webster a multi-year extension and added executive vice president to his title on Monday.
Webster, 41, joined the Raptors' front office in 2013 and was promoted to general manager in June 2017, making him the youngest GM in NBA history at the time at 32.
'We're building something special here, and I'm proud to continue to lead the Toronto Raptors as we work towards our next championship,' Webster said in a news release. '... This is a franchise that's focused on the future, and we're ready for what's next.'
The Raptors won their first NBA championship in the 2018-19 season. They are 591-455 with nine playoff berths and six Atlantic Division titles during Webster's tenure.
Toronto finished 46-36 in 2025-26 and ended a three-year playoff drought, losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in seven games in the first round.
'Bobby has an elite understanding of the game and the NBA, and he's used that to build a team that competes at a high level,' said Keith Pelley, CEO of Maple Leafe Sports and Entertainment. 'It's been an exciting year for the Raptors. They were a joy to watch compete together, and with Bobby and the Raptors, we've seen the results, and we believe in where his leadership will take us.'
The Raptors also announced extensions for vice president of player personnel and assistant GM Dan Tolzman; VP of basketball strategy and research Keith Boyarsky; and VP of operations Tyla Flexman.
