Washington Wizards big man Alex Sarr will miss Friday's Rising Stars game in Los Angeles with a hamstring strain.
The team announced Thursday morning that Sarr will be sidelined through the All-Star break.
Sarr, 20, will join Wizards teammates Kyshawn George and Tre Johnson in L.A. for this weekend's festivities.
Sarr did not play in Wednesday's 138-113 loss at Cleveland and is looking at a recovery time of two weeks, the team said.
The No. 2 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft is averaging 17.2 points and 7.8 rebounds in 41 games (all starts) this season.
