Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed practice Wednesday with a back injury, putting his availability in question for Saturday's road game against the Green Bay Packers.
Jackson was knocked out of Sunday's 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots with a back injury in the second quarter.
The Ravens (7-8) face elimination from the playoff chase with a loss to the Packers after winning consecutive AFC North titles. As it is, Baltimore's chances of reaching the playoffs for the seventh time in eight seasons are slim.
The Ravens need to win each of their final two games -- against the Packers and Steelers -- while Pittsburgh also loses this week against the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens would be eliminated this week with a loss and a Steelers victory.
Just doing their part by winning two games would be a tall order without Jackson, who missed three games in October with a hamstring injury as Baltimore went 1-2. When Jackson returned in Week 9, the Ravens won four consecutive games to improve from their 1-5 start to the season.
Jackson was the only Ravens player to miss practice Wednesday.
Jackson, 28, has completed 63.7% of his passes this season for 2,311 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. But his mobility has been nowhere near what it has been in the past with 340 rushing yards. He has never finished a season with fewer than 695 rushing yards.
In eight NFL seasons, all with the Ravens, Jackson has completed 64.8% of his passes for 184 touchdowns and 55 interceptions over 115 games (106 starts). He is 3-5 over his eight career playoff games.
