The Los Angeles Dodgers shuffled their bullpen while setting their World Series roster on Friday, hours ahead of Game 1 against the host Toronto Blue Jays.
The Dodgers added right-handers Edgardo Henriquez and Will Klein to the roster while leaving off left-handers Alex Vesia and Tanner Scott as well as righty Ben Casparius.
As for Vesia, the Dodgers announced Thursday that he and his wife, Kayla, are dealing with a 'deeply personal family matter.' Vesia could return for Game 3 in Los Angeles provided the Dodgers place him on the family medical emergency list.
Henriquez, 23, allowed one run while failing to retire any of the three batters he faced in Game 1 of the wild-card series against the Cincinnati Reds. He went 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA in 22 regular-season appearances.
Klein, 25, posted a 1-1 record with a 2.35 ERA during 14 relief appearances with the Dodgers this season. He struck out 21 batters in 15 1/3 innings.
