The Cincinnati Bengals are signing quarterback Reid Sinnett to the practice squad, NFL Network reported Friday.
If Joe Burrow can't play Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams, Sinnett would back up Jake Browning.
Sinnett, 26, spent part of training camp and the preseason with Cincinnati before being released on Aug. 29.
Undrafted out of San Diego in 2020, Sinnett has also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers but has not appeared in a regular season game.
Burrow is day-to-day with a right calf strain and did not participate in Thursday's practice. He has completed 41 of 72 passes for 304 yards with two touchdowns and one interception during the Bengals' 0-2 start.
